how come my firefox doesn't look the same as my old one it looks very old fashioned
i had a problem with my computer so i uninstalled firefox when i redownloaded it, it appeared very weird as if it was a regular program light internet explorer and it doesnt have the nice layout of the old one i had

You most likely were running the old 3.6 version (available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html).
Firefox 4 + has a new layout
