FOLDERS in my thunderbox email have disappeared how do i recover them
in Thunderbird email until last night I had folders I had set up for my old emails subdivided into subfolders for finance medical etc. I also had a folder for sent mails This morning they have disappeared and been replaced by folders INBOX drafts INBOX sent INBOX spam and INBOX Trash; all are empty. How do I recover the old folders and their contents?

What version of Thunderbird are you using ? What server are you using ? Are you using an IMAP account? If yes: Please logon to the webmail account via a browser for that email address. Do you see all your folders, subfolders and emails ?
It would be helpful to provide the following: In Thunderbird
- Help > Troubleshooting Information
- Scroll down to the 'Mail and News Accounts' section
- copy all the data in that section and post it into this forum.
- OR take a screenshot and upload the image file.
