Multi-account containers and Mozilla VPN
Using Mozilla VPN (Flathub version 2.39), Firefox Multi-account Containers won't let me assign a location per container as it did with the APT version - instead, under each container config it just says "Get Mozilla VPN" on a blue button.
But it does use the old config I had (so my old "US" container still exits in the USA, for instance).
This occurred on my old Ubuntu 24.04 system, using Gnome desktop; and also now on my new KDE system (Plasma 6.7.4) even if I tweak "configure permissions" in Discover to allow access to everything.

I'm not sure if this involves the add–on side, or the VPN side of things, but seems there's been an AppArmor change few versions back for a similar issue github.com/mozilla/multi-account-containers/issues/2852 — it's plausible the flatpak distribution just makes the apps isolated.
(Assuming your Firefox does not come from flathub, only the VPN?)
Thanks jbr. The issue you mention is for an older version of Mozilla VPN and, importantly, the APT version - which is currently working fine (before I decided to try the Flathub version instead).
