Change password on Thunderbird
I want to change my g-mail password but before I stop getting mails in Thunderbird I looked for how I will do that in Thunderbird. I find there is NO WAY to change a password in Thunderbird and there is no current password listed either. I find that ridiculous not to be able to change a password and zero instructions anywhere. Pretty stupid ! Someone with some brains at Mozilla needs to come up with an update for Thunderbird to add a way to change a password. Can't add an image because I don't want to give away any private information.

Hey Randy, welcome!
Totally understand the frustration, email passwords can be a hassle. Let's walk through this together.
Here’s how you can view or remove stored passwords:
- Go to Settings (or Preferences on Linux/macOS).
- Click on Privacy & Security.
- Scroll dwn to the Passwords section and click 'Saved Passwords'….
- Click 'Show Passwords' to view them (you may be asked to confirm).
- You can remove a saved password by selecting it and clicking 'Remove'.
Next time Thunderbird checks your mail, it’ll ask for the password again. Then, just enter your new one and Thunderbird will offer to save it.
I hope this helps you.
