gmail Spam folders and now "Junk" folders in Thunderbird - i.e. disagreement with GMail

I have multiple gmail accounts in TB. Apparently, when 140 updated to 141, all the SPAM folder names were changed to JUNK and now I have 2 JUNK folders in each account. My GMail accts on the web show a SPAM folder, and a JUNK folder under LABELS, so I assume the labels folder was created by TB. However, I don't know which is which in TB. This has to be a 141 bug. Why would you do that on purpose?

Can I fix this, or do I need to wait for 142?

This is a known change per https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1979511. There are discussions about next steps.
