Adding Home Page Shortcut Procedure does not work with FF 115.22esr for Windows 7

I did read the FF Support page on how to add a bookmark to my Home Page Shortcuts, however there is no menu to the immediate right (not the right corner of the page) of my Address Bar that will do this, as described in this page. I cannot seem to locate another link that will do this. The only workaround is to expand home shortcuts to 4 rows, keep opening tabs with the same address, delete other shortcuts, and eventually my browsing history adds it to the group.

Is there a way? I am using Windows 7, so I can only use the ESR version.

Thanks!

I'm running into the same issue on FF 115.22esr with Windows 7. The method described in the support docs doesn't seem to apply here — there's no menu or "Add to Shortcuts" option visible near the address bar like it says. Your workaround is clever but definitely not ideal.

Would love to know if there's a proper fix or hidden way to manually add something to the homepage shortcuts on this version. Maybe it's a limitation of ESR or the UI behaves differently on Win7?

Thanks for bringing this up — you're not alone!
