Suddenly this morning Firefox stopped connecting to any websites. It never gives an error message, it just tries to connect forever. Chrome and Edge can both access the internet without problems. I'm running Windows 11 Pro, and here's what I've tried so far:

Malwarebytes disabled Firewall disabled Turned off all add-ons/extensions Firefox uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, Windows, Malwarebytes, etc all updated Cache & cookies cleared Refresh Proxy use disabled IPv6 enabled DNS prefetching set to "true" Full malware scan by Malwarebytes Computer restarted (several times)

Any other ideas? Thanks!

It would help if you can provide the site and the screenshot of the error to compare.

It's for every website, and there is no error. Firefox looks like it's trying to load the page, but never gets further than a blank page.

"Suddenly this morning" "Firefox uninstalled and reinstalled" "Cache & cookies cleared" "IPv6 enabled" "Computer restarted (several times)"

Thats a litany of frustration unlikely to produce much in results.

Did you try to refresh FF?

I did indeed try refreshing FF.

Maybe I should have been more clear in my description. By "Suddenly this morning," I meant that this was a problem that started abruptly, to distinguish it from other types of problems that, for example, happen occasionally but not consistently.

Most of the rest of my list of attempted fixes are from Mozilla's support page entitled "Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can." I wanted to let you know that I've tried those potential solutions without success.

Do you have any other advice?

What OS? Are you running pro version of Windows? If so, you should have Windows Sandbox enabled for testing. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/ You can also boot windows to safe mode with networking to test.
