Does the alternate Ctrl+Shift+K (or click on 'Quick Filter') work? See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/rebuilding-global-database to rebuild the database

You mean that the suggested keyboard shortcut didn't work? Or the 'Quick Filter' button didn't work? Did you rebuild the database?
Rebuild the database didn't work. Ctrl+Shift+K didn't work. Quick Filter didn't work. I want it to search for a word in emails, but it doesn't work. Quick search works when I want to search for an email address
