The browser keeps crashing. I want to remove it from my Win 10 computer but uninstall only lets me do a refresh. I need to remove it to see if it is Firefox or some other issue. How do I remove the software?

Thanks for your help with this matter.

Best regards,

Adrian

Hi Adrian, there should be a way to skip past the Refresh suggestion to uninstall the program. However, before doing that, how long can you run Firefox before it crashes? If you can get in for at least a while, it would be worth taking a quick look at your crash reports to see what kind of issue you're having.

Can you open the about:crashes page and check whether Firefox has logged crash data? You can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the support article "Firefox crashes - asking for support" for steps to get those crash report IDs from the about:crashes page, and then post some of the recent ones here.

Are you running pro or home version of Windows? If pro, you should have sandbox enabled for testing. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/
