Empty Trash not working on TB 102.0

I have noticed that if I use File>Empty Trash with TB 102.0, the Trash folder initially appears to be empty. However, if I close Thunderbird and open it again, the messages I thought I had deleted still appear in the Trash folder. In order to empty the Trash folder, I have to open the Trash folder and delete each message to avoid this problem.

If you still see this after two weeks of updates (we're still fixing lots of issues) then please file a bug report https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Thunderbird
