The lack of Mac/Linux support is not really acceptable considering this service is a repackage of Mullvad VPN & Wireguard. How about the proposed workarounds in the meantime?

We are working hard to get the Mac OS version released ASAP. I don’t yet have a current timeline but if you sign up for the wait-list here: https://vpn.mozilla.org/vpn/invite you should receive an email when it is available in just a few months. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and we can’t wait to get it released soon.

So what about the proposed workarounds? Why not make the wireguard profile downloadable? I really wanted to support Mozilla diversifying their income stream away from relying on Google but if it’s going to take months for a beta invite I’m going back to MullVad.

Unfortunately, we don't have a workaround for Mac and Linux users at the moment. Make sure you sign up for the wait-list: https://vpn.mozilla.org/vpn/invite so you can receive an email as soon as these versions become available. This shouldn't take more than a couple of months.
