I think "Preferences" are accessed through "tools > options". I can access a password tab here on Windows and I assume Linux is the same.

Edit/Preferences/Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords is the correct location on Linux, but some versions of Linux don't clearly delineate the subsections of Security as separate tabs:

Is that the problem?

Edit (Alt-E) > Preferences > Security > Passwords tab > Saved Passwords > Show Passwords

You'll have to enter the master password in case you set one.

Right-click a password entry - Edit password
