It is difficult for us to recommend one particular ad-blocker for use as there are quite a few to choose from at the Add-ons site. One that is quite popular from within the Mozilla community that you may wish to try is uBlock Origin and another popular one is Adblock Plus.

The battle between adverts and ad-blockers is an ongoing one, with the advertising firms developing software to counter the ad-blocking people...which are developing countermeasures.
