ver 31.2. started hanging with "not responding".

Nothing has changed on my computer.

TB has worked flawlessly for years.

I'd like to try the fix I read about in the forum: new install and create a new profile.

See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb#w_profile-location-summary to locate your profile. Then with TB NOT RUNNING, use your File Explorer to rename the profile to something else (such as profile.old). When you restart TB, or download and start TB, it will create a new profile with default settings.
