when I press archive, the email disappears and is not in the archive folder or any other folder
I open an email, press the archive button, the email disappears and cannot be found in any of the folders, including the archive folder and inbox. I tried several of the solutions, but could not find a fix.

1. Right-click folder -> Properties... -> Repair folder If that doesn't work
2. If your Thunderbird account is setup using POP3 and the original folder hasn't been compacted then you can use an add on to recover deleted messages, that should bring them back. Recover Deleted Messages If that doesn't work
