Download feature does not retain list of downloads
When I download a file the download window shows the progress of the dowmload but when it is finished it automatically clears it from the window. I do not get a chance to look at what I have downloaded or a chance to run it without having to chase it from the "dowmload" file.

Options > Privacy, check "Remeber download history"
- First item on Privacy tab must be set --> "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history" in order to see all available options on that tab
Using Private Browsing or permanent Private Browsing (always start in private browsing on Privacy tab) will affect retention of prior session download history. Clearing your history will clear download history if that item is checked.
