I just upgraded to FF 8.0 and went to the Add-on Manager trying to manage some of my add-ons. I found that no add-on is being listed. However, all of my add-ons still work normally with FF (Ad Block Plus, Personas, etc.). Is this a temporarily glitch and will be fixed soon? As of now, I cannot manage any of my add-ons.

Any comments/suggestions are much appreciated.

I used auto-update and after FF updated, it asked me to restart, which I did. But I'll try again to see what happens. Thank you.

Wow, that's lot of work! I exit FF and restart, then have to enable most of my add-ons one-by-one, it took me almost 1/2 hour to do that. Now everything is back to normal. If you have lots of add-ons, warning, it might take you some time to enable all add-ons back (and some might not be compatible and you'll have to tweek it in the install.rdf file). But so far, so good. I have mixed feeling with this new feature (check third-party add-ons) because for users (like me) who will only install add-ons we want, and check the add-on list periodically for suspicious ones, this new feature is not really useful.

I just updated to FF 8.0 and wonder if any version of the IE Tab works with this version.

I've tried several versions and nothing seems to work.

vegaspat -- It'll work but you have to tweak it:

1. Go to: http://coralietab.mozdev.org/installation.html 2. Save the installation link (do not click to install it) to your hard drive, it'll be saved as a zip folder 3. Open the zip folder 4. Open the "install.rdf" file with NOTEPAD 5. Look for the line "em:maxVersion> 6. Change the version number to 8.0 or above (I changed to 9.0) 7. Save 8. A window will appear and just click OK 9. Close the Notepad file 10. Drag the zip FOLDER into Firefox and the Installation window will show up.

If you don't feel comfortable doing the above, you'll have to wait until the developer update it to work with 8.0.

Help. Tried all the above. Rebooted, reloaded, etc. Firefox 8.0 says it's up to date, but NONE of the add-ons will list in Add-On Manager. They are all working...I can see that, but I can't manage or change them.

glange65 -- In my case, after I EXIT FF and then start it again, those DISABLED add-ons were opened in new tabs and I have to select each tab individually and then enabled it (I have to go to the developer's sites of each disabled add-on and click INSTALL, then install it again. After that, went back to the Add-on Manager and ENABLE them). I have 11 add-ons which were disabled by default, so I have to do the above steps 11 times. That's why in my post above, I said it's a lot of work. After you EXIT and REOPEN FF, did you see a window about your add-ons?
