Firefox sync on different operating systems

I often use Ubuntu and windows systems，I find in different system the Firefox sync will don't work.

Some data can not be shared between different systems/Firefox versions.

You can sync bookmarks, login data

In case you use Firefox from the Ubuntu repositories you can try Firefox from the Mozilla server to see if that works better.
