Why so many Updates this month (Oct 2020)?

Hello, So far this month there have already been 4 Updates to Firefox. The latest one was just yesterday and now today there's another one. I don't mind the occasional update; usually it's about one or two each month. Five is crazy making! What's up with all the updates? Thanks, Andre'a

They are for security and or stability fixes that could not wait for next major Release. There have only been the two for Fx 82.0 as in 82.0.1 and 82.0.2. Pretty normal for there to be zero to two updates for a release version. The 68.0 and 60.0 were ERS channels also.

Hi James, I get that, but the last 2 were only 24 hours apart on top of the 3 others. That's my concern. Thanks anyway, Andre'a

This month: 2 updates for 81 (81.0.1 & 81.0.2) and 3 for 82 (82.0, 82.0.1 & 82.0.2)
