My account: [email address removed - this is a public forum. Please do not post sensitive information.] The last synchronization of my data was on September 22, 2019. Then, on September 23, having logged in to my account in a browser on the new operating system, I found that synchronization was not happening. I am afraid to lose data. Help me please!

You can check if you have the "C:\Windows.old" folder that Windows might have created.

Firefox uses two locations for the Firefox profile folder, so make sure to look in the correct location. Location used for the main profile that keeps your personal data (Root Directory on about:profiles).

  • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

Location used for the disk cache and other temporary files (Local Directory on about:profiles).

  • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

Unfortunately, reinstalling the system was with formatting the hard drive. I am disappointed that Firefox lost my data and did not load it. Aren't they stored in the cloud? Maybe there is at least a small chance to restore them? Help me please!
