My laptop *was* syncing fine, then just stopped as of March 25.

Today when I click on "Sign in to sync", it shows the sign in page. Then when I click on "Sign in", it returns a "No Connection" page.

Which is especially interesting, since I'm typing this on the same computer, in the same browser, so clearly I have a connection.

In searching for solutions, I found having the password manager disabled could cause this issue. So I re-enabled the password manager, yet the problem still exists.

My phone is showing this machine's synced tabs as of March 25. My iPad and desktop are also syncing fine (on the same network).

I'm assuming there's a config that I've changed that interferes, but can't imagine what it could be.

Thanks Dave

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see
