The pop-up dialog box for "create filter from message" glitches and does not display most of the information I need to know in able to make a filter.
I have provided an image of what the form looks like when I select it. Most of the settings and options are no longer visible. Would like to know how to fix it.
Thanks!

Hi Image definately shows all is not correct. Most issues relate to profile folders, but this looks like a program issue.
Suggest you uninstall Thunderbird program via 'Control Panel > Programs and Features. Select Thunderbird and click on 'Uninstall'
OR Locate where program is installed : If Windows and 64 bit
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\
If Windows and 32 bit
- C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\
Delete the 'Mozilla Thunderbird' folder.

Do not use another program to uninstall. CCleaner also has a habit of uninstalling all the profile data as well.
If you use CCLeaner or similar product to clean up files, do not allow it access to any Thunderbird file or folder as it can cause havoc with necessary files like session and paswords etc.
Download and install fresh version from here: https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/all/ Choose download suitable for OS and prefered language.
Launch TB in safe mode and see if the display returns to normal. For OS X, hold the Option key when you start TB, or Help/Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
Hi,
Thank you both for the replies. I tried disabling all the add-ons and turning them back on one by one. Now the form is fine again. Thanks for your help!
Brett
Was there a particular add-on you had to leave disabled, or was it a matter of updating certain add-ons?
No, it was really weird.
Maybe it triggered something by turning them all off. Not sure if any updated or not.
It's not the first time I've heard of the mysterious, beneficial effect of running once in safe mode, and then returning to normal mode with 'everything OK'.
That is really interesting. Just to be a bit more precise, I didn't try safe mode. I thought I would have to, but disabling each add-on individually and then turning them on, restarting Thunderbird, seemed to do the trick. Am very curious about what happened.
I'm not exactly sure, but turning the add-ons on and off may have triggered the add-ons to update. I've noticed that some add-ons, perhaps ones that aren't on the official site, haven't updated automatically despite that setting being in force.
