Can I put Thunderbird 52.8.0 (32-bit) into a "Container" 6.0.0, using Quantum 60.0.2 (64-bit), on my desktop?
.... so I can open my personal e-mails from Quantum, using Win 7 - sorry I'm new to this!

I think there is some confusion. Thunderbird is an e-mail client, it is used to access your existing e-mail account. It doesn't require Firefox to function, it doesn't even require a browser.
Firefox is a web browser, and you can use it to access your email if it has a webmail interface (like www.gmail.com). However, Firefox doesn't require thunderbird to operate.
Neither application needs the other, they don't even interface unless you are trying to send an email or open a link.
Can you explain what you are trying to do again?
Thanks Tyler, I just wanted a link/bookmark/tag to open Thunderbird when I'm on the Firefox homepage, if that was possible.
Hi, you should look and post over here for help, :

Note : this forum is for Firefox for Desktop & notepad/books
You can simply pin the Thunderbird icon to your taskbar. Having a link in Firefox isn't possible, nor necessary
Thank you.
