Got message "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below." when opening xml document.
We use an online database program called Kronos Web. In the last couple days when we try to open a documents we have stored in the database that is a Microsoft Word XML format it opens in a new tab and gives the message "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below." We don't get any option on how to open it. Previously we had no issues with it. I've reinstalled Firefox hoping that would fix the problem, but now I don't even have xml as an option in Applications and nothing comes up as a download so it will get added to Applications. Kronos told us it was a browser issue and not a Kronos issue.

With what content type does the server send these pages?
If Firefox tries to open the page in a tab then this means that it is send with a generic MIME type that Firefox can handle. You would have to right-click a link in such a case and use "Save Link as" to force an 'open with' download dialog.
It used to bring up the 'open with' download dialog, but late last week it just started to open in a new tab not matter what we have the options setting set to.
When you right-click the link, we don't get the 'save link as'. We only get 4 options; Bookmark This Link, Copy Link Location, Search Google for "Download" and Inspect Element.
