Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.
Flash Player Version: 22.0.0.209 Flash Player (Linux) Version 11.2.202.632

Is Firefox trying to install the Widevine plugin? That is a DRM (digital rights management) plugin required by some sites that stream protected content. More info in the following article, but unfortunately doesn't mention how to install Widevine if automatic installation doesn't work: Watch DRM content on Firefox. Did you try exiting Firefox and starting it up again in case that's needed to activate it?
I think Netflix works with either the built-in HTML5 player plus the Widevine plugin, or with the Silverlight plugin. Silverlight doesn't work in the regular release of Firefox 52-54, only in the Extended Support Release. If you need to switch to the Extended Support Release, you can download it here:

Since you already have 64-bit Firefox for Windows, you may want to stick with that release. The Firefox 52.2.0esr installer should be compatible with your Firefox 54 profile, so the rollback should be seamless.
Try to toggle DRM off/on to see if that makes Firefox load DRM components like Widevine.
