Firefox 50.1.0 does not reload pages after having browsed YouTube w/o JavaScript, then turned JS on with Quickjava and reload?

To clarify, I browse the web without Javascript. When I find a page that requires JS, and I want to see it, I turn on JS with Quickjava and reload. Quickjava seems to change the setting, but the page will not reload when requested to do so. Firefox 47.0.1 manages this trick very well and I would like to use it again on Firefox upgrades. Subsequent to trying Firefox 50.1.0 I reverted to Firefox 47.0.1 and am using it now. Note: This question is similar to other questions posted, but may reveal aspects for a more satisfying solution. Thank you for looking into this anomaly.
