How do I stop a site from remembering me? I have tried deleting cookies and not saving password but it still remembers me. I had the same problem with chrome but I got an addon called "Forget me" which cured it. I cant seem to find one for firefox apart from something called blur which is unsuitable as I have to create some account to use it which is not acceptable.

Also how is the site remembering me given I have removed cookies, the site is the guardian newspaper.

OK I will answer my own question 

Delete Site History 1.3  did the job for me!!

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/delete-site-history/?src=api

Was not easy to find out how it works but look at the picture you have to open the history to do it and click on the site.
