When I run Firefox, I usually want to visit a page quikly, NOT to wait for an update to be installed, and it is annoying. Can I get rid of this kind of startup?

Every time I'm in an emergency condition seeking for a quick web access, I try to run the Firefox to visit a specific page, but It doesn't start and says "Installing updates"!! Please wait for few minutes or more!! It's so annoying and I wonder if there weren't any other time to install the downloaded updates and let me browse the web?

Hello hassan98, click on the Firefox button > Options to access the options window > Advanced panel > Update tab > Firefox updates select Check for updates, but let me choose whether to install them , click OK to save it, exit firefox and restart it.
