two issues, when browsing forums or silly facebook. you can click a link to something like youtube or vimeo, it pops up in teh new tab "Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at youtube;xbmynokmoua.
Check the address for typing errors such as
   ww.example.com instead of
   www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
   connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

but if you copy and paste the url in the addy bar it works fine.

2nd issue, when closing out of tabs, often enough times, it minimizes the browser, instead of just closing the tab as it should. I haven't had this issue since the last update.

Hi,

Please check if this happens in a new profile. If the new profile is okay, you can later copy the needed personal data from the old profile. Firefox stores your personal data and settings in another location (profile folder) separate from its files/folder. A new profile would have the default Firefox settings (Tools (Alt + T) > Options, and about:config ), and usually would also be empty of any Extensions and themes (Appearance) in Tools > Add-ons) and their settings. Also, a new profile would have no previous stored website data/settings etc., (Tools > Clear Recent History).
