auto up graded to 6.0.1. the view tab does not offer status bar option. No status bar at the bottom of the screen. Maybe that is why 1-ClickWeather by The Weather Channel does not work (but I do not think that is the problem).

Went to View Tab and checked (clicked) Add-on Bar. There it is, on the bottom, my One-click Weather report. Why did you not stay with the common terms everyone is used to? What is the difference between Status Bar and Add-on Bar? Just because you upgrade the software does not mean you have to change the labels and wording. Maintain consistency!
