How do I "open" Firefox to start browsing?
I downloaded and installed Firefox. I've set up an account. But nowhere does it show me, or tell me, how to "open" Firefox and start browsing. There is no "search bar/window", just the address window at the top. I'm getting close to deleting the whole thing because it is needlessly frustrating.

How did you download? The best option is
https://www.firefox.com/en-US/releases/
The address windoe is also a search box, but you can add one separately
Right click the toolbar > Customise toolbar
there you have option to add and move, for example: the Bookmarks toolbar
Thanks for replying, but... when I type in my search query in the address bar at the top, it defaults to Google as the search engine. The whole point of trying out Firefox is to NOT use Google for ANYTHING. I've managed to do this easily enough with Bing and Duckduckgo.
Hi
This support article should help you to change the default search provider in Firefox:
