I have been using Firefox on my iPhone for years without problems. But for about a week now if I’m on data it can’t load any websites, a message appears saying it cannot connect to server. It works fine when I’m on WiFi.

Hi Pia,

That sounds totally off. Did you test if the connection issue also happen on other browsers or apps?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, sorry, forgot to say it seems to happen only with Firefox. I’ve been having to use Safari instead. All apps as far as I know seem fine too. Weird isn’t it?🤷♀ P

This is what Firefox did a little while ago when i tried to do a simple Google search. I was not offline at the time, I was streaming music.

Hi Pia,

An NSURLErrorDomain error is a broad Apple system notification indicating a network request failed across iOS, iPadOS, or macOS. Can you please try the following and see if it help?

  • Toggle Airplane Mode on and off, or verify that your Wi-Fi or cellular connection is active.
  • Restart Your Device

Hi again, Kiki. I have followed your instructions and it has worked. Thank you, I very much appreciate your assistance.
