Firefox automatically connecting to multiple IP addresses. Is it a security issue?
As soon as I start the Firefox Browser, it is connecting to multiple IP addresses. Any idea why it is doing so? Is there a way to stop it? Is it a privacy and security issue?
I have already changed most of the setting as mentioned in the following article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-stop-firefox-making-automatic-connections
Some of the IP connections have stopped after making those changes. But there are still few connections. They are: - 22.214.171.124 (This is Google LLC) - 126.96.36.199 (This is Amazon) - 188.8.131.52 (This appears to be Verizon Media) - 184.108.40.206 (This is Amazon) - 220.127.116.11 (This is Amazon)
It will be great if someone could shed some light on this issue. Thanks in advance.
