In the settings I linked closing the app with the option to close all open tabs and deleting the search history. Now I can't find the button to close the App anymore (after the updated was finished).

Also just closing the app through the phone won't do the same thing.

Please go to Settings -> Delete browsing data on quit -> and select Open Tabs and Browsing history.

The Quit button will show up in Settings.
