I no longer get the balloon that warns me I am about to close multiple tabs. All the fixes I find have you going into Tools or Alt+T and then selecting "internet options". I don't have "internet options" anywhere to select. How do I restore this feature?

Hello Lynne12,

If you want to get that warning when you're about to close multiple tabs, would you please do this :

Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter (promise to be careful, if asked)

Type in the search bar browser.tabs.warn

and look for the preferences :

broswer.tabs.warnOnClose and browser.tabs.warnOnCloseOtherTabs

Set their values to true

Then close and restart Firefox.

Would you also check this setting in the 3-bar menu (or Tools) => Options => General => under "Startup" : make sure that "Restore Previous Session" is unchecked. (if it is checked, you won't get the warning)
