Earlier today (Aug. 21, 2014) my google bookmarks were still on the bookmark bar. Now, they are gone. I tried importing them again, but now they are put in a folder called "From google chrome" on the bookmark bar. I want them back the way they were. I even tried reinstalling Firefox, but nothing changed. Grrrrrrrr

You can open the bookmarks sidebar or the Bookmarks Manager (Library; Show All Bookmarks) and copy and paste them to the Bookmarks Toolbar folder.
