I'am testing a GPO to deploy the Lockself extension on windows 11 for Firefox 152, the JSON used in the GPO setting is the following :

{"{ca613ee6-4211-4ae2-aa3c-d29608461d11}":{"installation_mode":"force_installed","install_url":"https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/latest/lockself-password-manager/latest.xpi","updates_disabled":false}}

And i have enabled an another setting to prevent the extension to be disabled or uninstalled by specifing the ID of the extension : ca613ee6-4211-4ae2-aa3c-d29608461d11

The policies are visibles under about:policies and they don't show any error.

The issue is that i'am still able to disable Lockself but going in Firefox parameters then under password and autofill. On the image attached, the button "Desactivate the extension" is here and you can use it, it disable the extension.

I have a few problems at my house and am trying to send photos of my garden gate which is not working. I cannot upload these photos as I get a message "Vous n’avez pas les droits nécessaires pour téléverser ce type de fichier" which I've translated to "You do not have the necessary permissions to upload this type of file.

I am using Windows 11 (this is nothing to do with Onedrive as far as I am aware).

This is a recent problem. How can I sort it please? The photos are on my Desktop as they are easier to find here.

Vertical tabs are a good idea. However to make a transition smoother special for those, like me, that have been using horizontal tabs for a life time (I was a Netscape user), can I suggest that the new tabs come on top instead of on bottom?

I could write a long motivation for that, user trend, psychological, etc, but I am sure you got the point.

My browser started crashing after the latest update, and it still crashes even in Safe Mode. It doesn’t close immediately upon opening; instead, it shuts down suddenly after about one minute or longer. This issue never occurred before and only started appearing after the recent update. Hi, I'm using Firefox on Desktop and Mobile. For last couple of months, I've been experiencing a problem of Shopify stores loading. When we open any Shopity website (stores specifically), it never loads. Sometimes it shows blank page and sometimes nothing.

At the same time, those sites are working fine in other browsers e.g. Chrome, Safari.

However, when I switch to other wifi network (jazz.com.pk), then it works on Firefox too. I tried different methods to fix it, but no success. Before the websites were sometime opening, but for lost few days, 0 response.

Not sure, where is this issue, I contacted my network support (nayatel.com), they also unable to figure it out.

I tried everything on my end, but no success. Need your help.

Hello there, I use Firefox on Linux and on my Iphone. On the Iphone, when I type in asomething in the search bar, on the bottom of the app I can select with one click, which search engine to use. On firefox desktop, this needs more clicks and I would find it helpful, to have the engines shown next to the text and be reachable with one click. Thank you for this great browser!

Can the quantity of tabs ever get so large that finally one more tab wont open? What are the max count of tabs recommended, and when should they be removed to start over?

I may have a problem with the new Firefox version 152: from my online application, I send a command string to a local printer reachable at https://192.168.1.xxx. It often succeeds, but sometimes it gets blocked. I don't understand what the problem might be because I don't get any error messages. The only thing I see that's different from the usual is this:

However, it looks like an informational message saying everything is OK.

It seems that Firefox sometimes waits before sending the XHR call, which causes the call to time out. I have no evidence to confirm this. I don't know where to look for evidence. What can I do?

Hello, for some time now I've been experiencing a number of problems with the latest Firefox updates.

Today I have version 152.0 (64-bit), which was updated again this morning. I restarted my mid-2015 MacBook Pro Retina. I have fiber optic internet, which is very high speed.

I've been using Firefox for over two years.

1) For the past eight days, I've been experiencing many problems with Google Meet; I get freezes, audio and video dropouts...

2) For the past three days, I haven't been able to log in to this website: https://creators.spotify.com/pod/login

3) For about ten days, I've been having trouble logging into my Stripe dashboard, with significant slowness and/or crashes.

4) In Notion, I'm also experiencing significant slowness, with pages taking a long time to load.

In short, several problems that I didn't have at all a month ago or before.

But now it's a nightmare.

I don't have any of these problems in Safari or Google Chrome.

So what's going on in Firefox?

When will the drag-and-drop link-to-open-new-tab feature be restored? Previous versions had this feature, which was very convenient, especially when wanting to open multiple tabs at once. Now it can only be done through the right-click menu, which is very user-unfriendly. I raised this issue a long time ago and never received a response. I hope this feature can be restored as soon as possible; otherwise, I will switch to Chrome.

Good day everybody, I am new to Firefox. I have MacBookAir 11. I added the Ecosia extension since it's my main search engine. I noticed there aren't ads popping up for Ecosia. That is how Ecosia makes money for it's sustainability projects, so, as nice as it is to not see ads, I would like them to show up for my Ecosia searches. I understand you can make an Enhanced Tracking Protection exception (and I did), but where can I find a place to make exceptions for whatever AdBlock software came already integrated to Firefox? I am liking Firefox so far. Thank you everybody. Miran.

The release notes for Firefox 153 beta show a way to get the color picker.

Quickly pick and copy a color from any page by typing "pick color", "color picker", or "eyedropper" in the address bar and selecting the "Pick a color" quick action.

This does not work for me. Typing any of the proposals in the address bar just uses the normal search without showing the possibility to select the color picker.
