I am closing my btinternet account and want to be able to still read emails in future. Is there a way I can save complete emails to harddisk so I can access with Thunderbird without going through server.

Ideally, you need to get copies of all emails into the 'Local Folders' mail account.

Please ignore as I have resolved. I loaded Thunderbird couple of days ago and it would not synch. Today I have reloaded Thunderbird and I can now access email offline. Strange.
