Downloads Tab & 'Save as PDF' features removed in the Recent Firefox android Update!
Downloads Tab or option removed & "Save as PDF" also Removed in the Recent Firefox android Update! Removing Downloads option is not good by any mean, because how am i suppose to resume the paused file or a failed file due to network issue...? second point is about removing the " Save as PDF" Option where i was able to download a webpage as PDF. That was an awesome feature, which is now unavailable.
So, what are you going to do about this..?

These options are under development.

I was using these features day before yesterday, before the update came!
Hi
Save as .pdf is currently not available in Firefox for Android, but may be included in a future update. In the meantime, if you hold down the volume "-" and the power button on your device, Android will take a screenshot and save it to your pictures.
You can still download content in the new Firefox for Android, with files being stored in the Downloads folder on your Android device. We look to improve this in future updates.
screenshot in a mobile? how many pages would I get in one click? only one. why would you disable this feature ? those who dont want their pages copied , you can not fetch them in reader mode anyways. removing this feature makes internet less useful. thank you.
I used the "Save as PDF" regularly. I'd like Firefox to bring it will be back quickly.
Removing the "Save as PDF" was such a typical bad business decision to make. "It's not broke...let's screw with it!!!"
That was one of the features I used most - it made my genealogy work so much easier when I could simply save whole pages to read offline later, then file the PDF in a project folder with related research ‐ now I have to copy and paste text and image files into a document (if possible!) or paste text into into one file and save each image into a file making sure to carefully label each and to keep all of them together, AND I risk losing formatting when saving census records, passenger lists, military rosters or muster rolls, etc., etc.
Whoever had the bone-headed idea to remove such a useful feature? They should be demoted or whatever. Big disappointment.
Totally agreed!
Hi,
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
I am going to close this thread, but if you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
