I can't haven't figured out the Thunderbird address books in all the years I've been using Thunderbird. I wouldlike to just empty them out and re-import addresses from the Mac address book. Assistance would be appreciated.

Open an address book. Select a contact. Press control + a to select all. Press Delete.
