Many thanks for your reply gild, and I tried everything, but Kies3 will only sync my contacts to Outlook, so it looks as though I'll either have to open an Outlook account (which I don't want to do) or find a way of syncing without using Kies3. I really don't want to manually copy all my contacts into my Windows 8.1 laptop, so I'll keep searching for a while longer.
