Multi-Account Containers is a Firefox add-on that allows you to separate your shopping, work, banking, Facebook and personal browsing without having to delete your browsing history every time you exit the browser. To make it even more private, you can integrate Mozilla VPN into each container and choose a different location server for each one of them.

Note: You need a subscription to Mozilla VPN to be able to integrate it with Multi-Account Containers. To become a subscriber, visit the Mozilla VPN website.

Note: The address socks://localhost:3182 instructs Firefox to use the local proxy server that was set up during the installation of the Mozilla VPN client, listening to incoming Firefox traffic. Traffic directed via Firefox to this local proxy is excluded from VPN protection.

Done! Moving forward this container will not be protected by the Mozilla VPN even when it's on.

If you uninstall Mozilla VPN you will need to remove this setting by following the steps above and clear the socks://localhost:3182 entry by clicking the icon.
