When I highlight/select an email message and then switch the sort option from Date to From, the same email is no longer highlighted and selected. The highlighting changes to a softer color and I have to select the email message again. The message selected should still be selected when switching the sort option.

When deleting several files on my site, Firefox asked me if I wanted to remove this warning popup.

I said yes.

Since then, I've been unable to delete files, because the popup no longer appears.

How can I reactivate it?

I have some websites that require pop-ups. I cannot get them to work in Firefox on my Android phone. Google searches reference a setting under "privacy and security" where I should be able to allow pop-ups in general or for certain URLs only, but I don't have that setting option.

I have Firefox version 139.4 if that helps.

Firefox has just introduced wallpapers for browser home page. I cannot get it to work. It's either cropped too small or pixilated, is there a setting I need to adjust, or a particular image format? So that it looks ok.

I want to save a shortcut on my desktop that will access a particular site in Firefox using private browsing. It appears (?) years ago you could do that by adding -private to the end of the target. That appears to no longer work.

Suggestions?

I'm in the process of cleaning up Thunderbird e-mail before moving to a new computer. I started with 11,593 e-mails in my Inbox and 7,799 e-mails in my Sent folder. I'm now down to 7,634 in my Inbox and 4,965 in my Sent folder. I've allocated 2 weeks for this process and found that it's taking me about 3 hours per day to meet my daily goals. I'm finding that I'm spending at LEAST half the time responding to "Empty-Trash/Compact-folders" requests. There are times I can delete 50 e-mails at a time without getting a request. Other times I will try to delete ten e-mails and get the request. With the old version of Thunderbird I could literally delete hundreds of e-mails at a time. Can you help? Russ Bukwa Yardley, PA ps. I have a thunderbird account with access from three different computers. I have two issues with the account: after more or less a week the last thirtish emails trasfer automatically to trash, so I usually retransfer them to the inbox manually. BUT this week they have been permanently deleted. Not by me, the emails just disappeared... they are not in the trash. Nor in the spam folder, nor archive. I understand I cannot recover the last emails, but I would like to know why the emails are transferring to the trash automatically in the first place. I tried looking at the settings but I didn't find anything out of the ordinary. Please let me know, thanks!

Is there a way to hide all folders from Unified Folders except for the Inboxes? I have both, Unified Folders and All Folders visible in the sidebar. For drafts, sent, junk, trash, templates, etc. I prefer to use the respective folders under each email account shown All Folders. But I very much like the Unified Inbox. What I would like to achieve (see the little mock-up image I made):

• A Unified Inbox (expandable to show individual inboxes, as it is now).
• Then directly under that, I want the All Folders section to show.

From reading up on the Unified Folders I understand that they are just Saved Searches. So I thought of creating a new custom Saved Search and include all the Inboxes. But unfortunately that seems only possible as subfolders of specific accounts. So I tried and created a Saved Search with all inboxes and IMAP search on under Local Folders. But I can't move it to the top of the list. And it also is not expandable to show individual inboxes as under Unified Folders. Any ideas if something like on the image below is possible to achieve?
