How do I fix Firefox getting confused over what color mode is active on Android?

Firefox will often display itself in light mode when dark mode is active. Rarely the opposite though. It happens randomly as far as I can tell, but maybe there's a patter… (čitajće wjace)

Firefox will often display itself in light mode when dark mode is active. Rarely the opposite though.

It happens randomly as far as I can tell, but maybe there's a pattern to it somehow, perhaps regarding doze mode?

Would love to know if I'm not the only one, and maybe if there's a way to fix it, or there's a bug report for it already that we can follow for updates.
