When using the native translation tool in Firefox for iOS to translate an English page (specifically tested on Wikipedia) into Portuguese, the translation is incomplete and inconsistent.

This behavior mostly occurs inside collapsible sections (the topics that expand and collapse when you tap the arrow icon). The translation failure is not just on a paragraph-by-paragraph basis; it often occurs partially within the same section, where some sentences are successfully translated while others right next to them remain entirely in English.

Steps to reproduce:

   Open Firefox on iOS.

   Navigate to an English Wikipedia article (mobile view, which uses collapsible sections).

   Trigger the built-in Firefox translator to translate the page to Portuguese.

   Expand one of the sections using the dropdown arrow.

Expected result:

The entire text, including all sentences and paragraphs inside the expanded sections, should be fully translated into Portuguese.

Actual result:

A broken, partially translated layout where some sentences/paragraphs are translated, but others immediately below (or within the same block) remain in the original English.

Anyone know what is happening? In the past month or so trying to view websites on iPhone, even on Firefox has become impossible.

The number and size of ads has metastasized to the point they block out all content. Is this a new trend? Is it my settings?

Who is responsible for this shift — the website ad settings or the browsers? Is it Google further breaking the internet?

For the neurodiverse, it’s an accessibility issue as well as a dystopian nightmare.

Please tell me there’s a way to fight this apart from permanent reader mode. This has vastly reduced our use of the internet. Each site feels like a trap and a scam.

The ads cause anxiety as well as irritation and general thwartedness as I cannot reach the content! What are these people/bots thinking?

When I go to my Firefox app it keeps popping up with Google as a search engine in a homepage. I have a laptop that is a Windows program although the cell phone is an iPhone. I want the iPhone to look like the home screen on my computer so I can figure out how to get to certain functions in Firefox. How do I make it work that way

On my iphone google assumes everyone is in the US, even if you add UK to every search. Is there a way to make it search for local answers ? on desktop I have an extension to change it from .com to .co.uk is there anything similar on IOS

The active tab in iPadOS just shows a slightly lighter white at the top of the tab. It is easy to mix up which tab I’m actively using or wishing to close.

I was wondering if Firefox for iPadOS could include an option to set a custom color for the top of the active tab? I believe this would help in quickly seeing which tab I’m dealing with.

this was actually solved for me last night and I should’ve took a screenshot of what I was told to do because it worked well now I have a homepage, but it doesn’t have the new changes I made to the wallpaper and it was keeping too many jump back in things so I wanted to take those out and instead I wiped everything out
