To protect your security, eazypay.icicibank.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window.

Since the last Firefox update I cannot access sites such as Chaturbate or Myfreecams anymore with error message :

"Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site. We can’t connect to the server at chaturbate.com."

There seems to be a DNS issue. I tried everything I found online such as desactivate DNS over HTTPS and others but I just cannot access these. Firefox works for "normal" sites and all other browsers (Edge, Oasis, Brave, etc) work fine now but I had to change the DNS after their last update (everyone created a problem from last week, so strange).

Another very strange thing is when I use a VPN, even with my country to access from, it is working !!!

What can be the issue and how to solve it ? Thanks

Suddenly getting persistent "Gah. Your tab just crashed" error message this week; running Windows 11 on a Lenovo X1 Carbon 12th Gen laptop; I have run Firefox in Safe mode, disbled multi-process tabs, turned off h'ware acceleration, cleared cache and cookies, turned off BitDefender, Refresed firefox, updated firefox and windows, checked for malware, reinstalled Firefox, and attempted to create a new Firefox proficle (didn't run), all to no avail; attempted to use mozregression, but I don't have the skills. Would be glad of any help! Thanks

hello! Firefox began timing out and needed to be force quit starting yesterday; I didn't think anything of it until I reopened and Firefox continued to be unusable. It's not frozen or unresponsive, but it won't load pages or complete actions. I can interact with the browser and settings, etc, access about:crashes, but I can't actually submit crash reports; it just loads endlessly. When I close the program, it won't complete that action either; the app remains running in the background until I force quit.

Things I've tried:

Restarting the computer Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox Clearing the cache

Other browsers work fine, as does the rest of my machine and internet. I'm submitting this using Safari because I can't navigate here using Firefox, but would really prefer to get back to my browser of choice.

Attached are the IDs of a few of the crashes I've had; they remain unsubmitted, sorry, because (as outlined above) I'm not able to complete the action when submitting them.

I use Firefox on an computer with Ubuntu, (installed as snap) and have noticed that since the update to version 140 (specifically, version 140.0 canonical-002-1.0), closing a tab causes a noticeable delay : that is, upon any action that would close a tab (clicking on the cross, pressing CTRL+w, or middle clicking), there is a delay of about 200 to 300 ms before the tab is actually closed.

However, during this delay, the window still responds to inputs, leading to rather annoying situations. For example, during regular usage, I usually open a great number of tabs. When I am done with browsing, I close them, by repeatedly clicking the cross button on the tabs. It used to be that the tab under the cursor would immediately close, then the next tab would slide under the cursor, and I would click again to close that one, etc.

But now, when clicking the cross button, the tab is not closed, and when I click again after a small delay (because of muscle memory), the tab is still there. This cause the two single clicks to be treated as a single double-click, which for some reason puts the window in full-screen mode (but only with the snap version; I'm not sure what's going on here).

When using CTRL+w when closing tabs, the delay is still there, but the inputs are correctly handled. If I press CTRL+w three times at the usual rate, I can see the three key presses, then nothing happens for a few instants, then the three tabs close at the same time (i.e. the delay is from input to tab close, not from tab close to other tab close).

This behaviour is completely absent on Firefox (also version 140) on my windows computer.

This delay does not appear when creating tabs, and it does not occur either when closing the window or when closing the last tab in the window (leading to an amusing situation where shutting down Firefox is actually faster then closing a tab). These operation keep going at their previous speed, immeasurably fast to the human eye.

Navigation does not appear to be meaningfully slower than before the update, and the CPU/memory usage is very reasonable.

Curiously, this appears to be a fixed delay. Closing an empty tab takes the same time as closing a very busy one. Closing a tab when there are five takes the same time as closing a tab when there are thirty.

This issue makes browsing feel incredibly sluggish.

Is there a solution for this problem ?

Edit 1 : I have tried to run Firefox in troubleshoot mode, but there was no difference in behaviour. Edit 2 : Fixed typo. Edit 3 : Added exact version. I also tried to refresh Firefox, but the issue remained. Edit 4 : The problem is still present in version 140.0.1 canonical-002-1.0. Edit 5 : The problem is still present in version 140.0.2 canonical-002-1.0.

As of July 1st I'm unable to open www.funnyjunk.com on firefox I can do it through chrome or a 3rd browser on my phone and a friend who uses firefox can do it too. I have DNS over HTTPs settings disabled, troubleshoot mode and private window didn't change anything. Afaik I haven't installed anything new between my last successful and first unsuccessful attempt.

Suddenly they broke after the 140.0 update, but as it turns out, this is the case everywhere. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Verified on: Firefox Desktop, Chromium Desktop, Firefox Mobile Font: Calibri (No changes), Roboto (No changes) I've scoured half the internet, as if I were the only one with this problem...

I shop on several websites, and the customer review section does not appear on the product pages. Thinking extensions may be to blame, I tried opening those particular websites in a new private window. But I still was unable to see the reviews. It works fine on Edge. Is there any way to fix this?

starting at the update before the most recent one (currently june 30 2025) my firefox browser on my windows 10 pc simply doe not work at all. i am surprised it actually loaded the support page allowing me to write this, but every other page i try to open gets stuck in infinite loading. next thing i am going to try is uninstalling/reinstalling I GUESS. firefox on my other PC and phone are totally fine. is this bc i am running windows 10? please help :C i installed chrome and its absolutely awful

I have a few passkeys saved in Proton Pass password manager. I can use them with any browser on any OS using various official browser extensions or applications. For Firefox, I use the proton pass extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/proton-pass/).

The passkey for my Nintendo account doesn't work with Firefox. I tried with Firefox 140 on a Windows 10, on MacOS 15 (Sequoia) and on Linux (Ubuntu 22.04). Same problem each time: error message "couldn't complete passkey sign-in" (see the attached screenshot).

If I use the same passkey stored in Proton Pass with another browser, it works. I can log into my Nintendo account. I tried with Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 and on MacOS, and with Safari on an iPad.

It seems the issue is also related to the Nintendo website. I can log without problem into my Sony account (https://store.sony.com) using Firefox 140 and a passkey stored in Proton Pass.

Although I have successfully logged in many times, I get an error message today: An error occurred during a connection to b2clogin.firstenergycorp.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Hi everyone, I use Firefox as the main browser for my iMac (Sequoia 15.4.1). Recently, Firefox has been incredibly slow. I'm able to boot up and open Firefox (140), but when I search for something or create a new window, it never loads. Is there a way to fix this? I can open the same websites on Safari, but Firefox is my employer's preferred browser. Additionally, my bookmarks are all saved on Firefox. Thanks for insights/ideas/solutions.

I just changed search history to never save my search history and the extensions are not working at all. Is there a solution ? Respond on my email please ( [email removed]@gmail.com )
