as I've tried to ask in your help pages, I'm being asked to download Firefox. I'm then told I already have it! Why is this so?

I want to re-install Firefox after having re-installed Windows 11. But the installation keeps freezing or I get a message that it's already installed and just needs to be refreshed, which doesn't work either. I tried removing the Mozilla program files from File Explorer but that froze at 99% complete, although the files did show in the Recycle Bin. I definitely need help.

Trying to install Firefox through ChromeOS Linux from the official Mozilla Page. Then have two Firefox icons on taskbar: first is far left (normal) select and calendar & email launch. The second Firefox icon is far right on taskbar: Select and the system repeats the select browser & default apps Shown in the first line above.

I am following the instructions in section "Install Firefox from Mozilla Repository (Recommended)" at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/run-firefox-chromeos At step 4 I am receiving a permission denied error: "-bash: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mozilla.sources: Permission denied" I am not sure how to resolve or continue.
