For some reason, I cannot access any links imbedded in my favorite browser sites. I don't have enough knowledge to put into words what I'm asking but I'd like to be able to click on a newsletter or a article on a websitye. The messages is always "cannot access this site (or link). Any suggestions?

popped up after an update, not only is it slightly distracting but also annoying as now when i try to pick up or select a tab by putting my mouse at the top of the screen it does nothing, as i select the useless black bar instead

I keep getting sporadic crashes, and sometimes a tab crash (particularly on maps.google.com). I have the latest updates to all my software. What can I do to help prevent these crashes? I am using Pop OS. Videos are not playing in firefox. In youtube it shows loading infinitly. In reddit all videos become green. I tried playing a downloaded video it also become green. These are only happening in integrated mode. If I use hybrid graphics mode all works good. I attached the about:support page and about:config page.

I have just upgraded to version 145 and the title bar has disappeared Even though I have the Title Bar option checked in the customize firefox panel. If I uncheck the title bar option and then check the title bar option, the title bar will appear, but when I close firefox and then restart firefox the title bar is gone.

i want to know why firefox extension reporting requires the user to check a box near text that says that the user is telling the 'complete' and 'accurate' truth. that's impossible for a human. it's also cruel and unusual. why does mozilla apparently assume that every user is a judge and a lawyer in the united states who is also God? it doesnt make any sense. My settings: Downloads: save files to: [custom default folder, unimportant] Always ask you where to save files: ENABLED

Applications: PDFs: Open In Firefox (because when the browser has such a nice built-in pdf viewer of course I would like to use it)

Expected behavior: Browser will open the dialog box for where to save the pdf, save the pdf, then open it in the in-browser viewer from the location it just saved to. Or possibly: save the file to TEMP and then open it in browser, I can see the argument for that behavior, though it wouldn't be my first instinct.

Actual behavior: Browser blindly saves the pdf to the specified default folder, then opens it in the in-browser viewer.

What is the actual point of the ALWAYS ask checkbox here? From what I can find extant on the forums the devs somehow don't seem to consider this a bug, so does anyone know how to wrangle the config page and/or some kind of extension into producing the actual logical behavior for these settings?

Firefox repeatedly crashes on my, multiple times a day. I'dc really like to NOT have to change my default browser to Chrome.

What happens is that Firefox freezes, and I get a white bar at the top telling me so. I get a popup box asking if I want to close Firefox or wait for it to respond. Waiting doesn't work, so I always have to close Firefox. When I reopen it, fortunately all m,y open tabs are retained, but it crashes again within minutes or seconds as soon as I click on anything.

There only thing that seems to work is a reboot of my PC. But the respite is short before Firefox crashes again.

I've disabled most plugins, but that hasn't helped. Is there a way to create an event log within Firefox that I can share with someone at Mozilla to help e debug the issue? It's got to be something local rather than Firefox itself; I can't imagine this is happening to most users.

Even with just 1 tab open, Firefox is killing my laptop battery.

Win 11 PC laptop.

In background, it is using 40% to 50% of the laptop battery. I need much better performance from it. I have already turned off any settings I can find regarding Firefox's background functions. When I quit Firefox I want it completely off.

How can I do that?
