I am experiencing a problem with Thunderbird for Android.
My setup:
- Smartphone: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (SM-S918B)
- Android version: Android 16
- Computer: Windows PC
- Desktop email client: Thunderbird for Windows (latest version)
- Email accounts are configured and working correctly on the Windows version of Thunderbird.
The issue concerns the Android application. Despite using the same email address, login credentials and server settings that work correctly on my Windows computer, I am unable to properly configure or synchronize the account in Thunderbird for Android.
The desktop version connects without any issues, while the Android application either rejects the settings or fails to synchronize properly.
I have already:
- verified the email address and password,
- confirmed that the same credentials work on the Windows version,
- checked the incoming and outgoing server settings,
- reinstalled the Android application,
- ensured that the device has an active internet connection.
Could you please advise what additional steps I should take to resolve the issue?
