Suddenly blocks access to internet without network log-in, but I have NO network

I’m using Firefox to access different websites that provide online calculators and tools. Some of these tools ask for my location or use my city to calculate a result.

I’m not sure how Firefox handles this information. Does Firefox allow websites to access my location, and will it always ask for my permission first? Also, can I check or change which websites are allowed to use my location?

I’d like to understand how this works before allowing a website to use my location.

I recently updated my primary email address in my Mozilla/Firefox account, and deleted the secondary email address. But while some of your emails are coming to the new address (hc3baldwin@gmail.com), some are still being sent to the old address (chuckbaldwin@juno.com), then Juno forwards them to the new Gmail address. The header info shows that they came via Juno. I don't understand why all references to the old Juno address haven't been deleted from my account.

Recently my browser has not been saving my tabs once I close Firefox. Every time redo the tabs and then close the browser, the next time i open up Firefox, they all disappear. In the Home and Startup settings, the Open previous windows and tabs is checked. I still have the closed tab history but it still doesn't save the tabs after closing the browser down.

As of the last update, my search engine changed to google. I've disabled google search in tools and have yahoo listed as first and duck duck go as 2nd. Still, in the search bar, all I get is google as the search engine. I've tried all the 'fixes' I've found on the web and none have worked. There's not a way to get rid of google in the list Mozilla tools/search gives.

I received an email stating the following: "Firefox now has a built-in ad blocker.... Turn it on under Settings > Browsing." There is no "Browsing" in my Settings.

In the Settings, the "HTTPS-Only" feature seems broken. There is an option to 'Don't enable" this feature, but that doesn't make any difference. I can get to an "http:" site using any other browser, but not with the latest Firefox.

I can't write Bengali fonts in Firefox. I tried several ways to fix it, but I couldn't. On Opera browser it's working good with Bengali Typing. In Firefox it's not working. I have tried to write আমার সোনার বাংলা it's going to like this (‘‘্রও েরনসমfv h১৥#৪% ). When I paste Bengali writing from other source it's working good like this আমার সোনার বাংলা. How can I fix this issue ?

I already went into safe mode but I had the same problem. I can get into my bank account but try to go to BillPay and it is loading forever. AT SwansonVitamins I do search for a product and it comes up with blank page and will not show any data or do anything. Nextdoorand Picknsave do not come up at all. Some other sites work but are very slow. I can get to those sites with Chrome.

Everything was ok, but exidently (maybe after some update) my firefox browser just stopped recovering my pages after closing and reopening it. YES, it is turned on in settings and I tried every single advice I found, this [bad] browser just don' do it. I don't have extensions. There are backups files in sessionstore-backups, but it doesn't load it. I looked at sessionstore-logs there was a one error(date is about time recovery stopped working), which was caused by lack of free space on my disk, but now I have a lot of free space and it still doesn't work

I have auto-update enabled on my desktop (Windows 10) but the browser still has a popup message that asks me to "restart to install updates" every time I open it. It says the updates install successfully, but next time I go on Firefox it wants me to close and reopen the app again. Auto-updates are, as stated, enabled, and it should be able to update in the background, but it doesn't. Is it something wrong with my instance of Firefox, or maybe my desktop has some settings wrong?? I have disabled and re-enabled auto-updates, and restarted my computer, just to get the basic fixes out of the way lol. The updates work just fine on my laptop (also Windows 10) btw.

I would like to report abuse of Firefox users. The twice per session Update Bug has finally driven me to another browser. Mozilla has strayed far from it's user friendly heritage. I am so feed up I have moved on.
